1. How does the process begin?
One of our advisors will meet with you and once understanding all of your needs will discuss the most suitable options.
2. Can I see a design before I commit?
Yes. As part of the briefing process our advisors will discuss the design direction for your site and can return the following week with a mock up for you to consider.
3. I've heard that many website companies have 'templates' that the website must fit into. What if I want something different?
The artlab creates bespoke sites to fully satisfy your requirements. Every business is different and your website should reflect that. We also provide template solutions if your bdget is limited, but these designs are not unique to your business.
4. What are the payment terms?
Once you're happy with our proposal, and have decided on a design, we then require 50% to be paid before we can commence work. When the site has been completed as per the proposal we will host it on our server for you to check over. Once the remainder of the payment has been completed we will then upload it to your web address.
5. I get about 5 calls a day from people promising to get me to the top of Google - are you one of these companies?
No we're not! That's not to say we won't work toward getting you as visible as possible on Google but many of these companies represent very poor value for money and profit from people's lack of knowledge about search engine marketing.
We believe that SEO is only part of a comprehensive marketing campaign rather than the be all and end all. What's the good in being top of Google if it doesn't translate into sales? As we say at the artlab - 'it don't mean a thing if the phone don't ring!'
6. Can we host the website ourselves?
Yes, but we would prefer to host it as it will minimise any potential problems and any possible future downtime.
